A majestic Venetian evening

Come join in the festivities of our 36th Theatre at Sea celebration! Our Grand Italian Adventure will begin in Venice, the resplendent jewel of the Italian coast. From there, we will journey along the warm waters of the Mediterranean, touring some of the most beautiful ports in the world, and ending in magnificent Monte Carlo. This is our first Italian cruise in ten years, and we are thrilled to be returning to its extraordinary cities, and the culture that has developed from its rich history.

Here is our trip itinerary: We begin in Venice, where we board the luxurious Crystal Cruises Crystal Serenity. With its 1,070-passenger capacity, 226 square feet staterooms, and one of the highest space-to-guest ratios at sea, the Crystal Serenity is a 6-star deluxe cruise ship!

We will spend that evening and the next day enjoying the beautiful sights and scenes of Venice, with shore excursions to the nearby cities of Padua and Verona. Then we will start our journey down the Mediterranean coast. We will stop at the ancient city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, exploring the medieval splendor it's Old City , before going on to the beautiful island of Sicily. From there we head to Sorrento, near the famous fallen city of Pompeii, and then majestic Rome, seat of Italian government and culture for centuries.

After Rome, we will visit enchanting Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, and go on to Elba - a captivating seaside resort with glittering bay views. Finally, we will stop in Monte Carlo, where we plan to have a reception at the lovely Princess Grace Theatre - Prince Albert II has graced us with his presence at just such a reception in the past!
